It all started when I had my makeup done for a dance by an amazing artist, I remember being absolutely blown away by her talent and I will never forget how it left me feeling. And so my journey began, to learn how to recreate this feeling for others.

After completing my course with POUT school of makeup in 2007 I joined the internationally recognized makeup brand M.A.C Cosmetics. Working in stores surrounded by talented and creative artists that I still look up to today, and being chosen for the M.A.C SA Events team, working under some of the industry’s best and world renowned Senior Artists, has helped me define my individual style of artistry and develop my makeup agility.

Over the past 9 years with M.A.C I have attended boot camps, master classes and continual training and development with established creatives such as Michelle Lee Collins, Raine Tauber, Fathima Thomas, Terry Barber, Netta Szekely and Dean Rudd. I also had the opportunity to work backstage at some of the most exciting events over the years, such as Africa Fashion Week, Mercedes Benz Fashion Weeks (JHB /CT), the 2010 FIFA World Cup Opening Concert, numerous Television Commercials and Music Concerts whilst continually refining and expanding my skills.

Working for one of the industry-leading makeup authorities has developed my expertise with makeup and the products that I use, as well as keeping me up to date with the latest trends and techniques. Through managing M.A.C Cosmetics number 1 SA store, I have developed a vast experience in dealing with people and meeting their needs.

Throughout the last 10 years I have also freelanced at weddings, professional shoots and various functions. I love nothing more than being able to spend time with a client and make her feel incredibly beautiful, there is something special about how makeup can make a person feel and the confidence it can give you. I enjoy doing different aspects of makeup from natural beauty and bridal, to more edgy, theatrical and fashion/runway looks. I also like push my boundaries and play with SFX and Body painting.
